Our beloved 'WILD' cartouche necklaces are finally back. Adorned on a classic Venetian box chain featuring an adjustable extender. The Ancient Egyptian cartouche was a traditional device used for writing hieroglyphic names inside of. Its purpose was to distinguish the names of pharaohs from other, less important writings and hieroglyphics. The oval surrounding their name was meant to protect them from evil spirits in life and after death. Cartouches were formerly only worn by pharaohs, but overtime gained popularity for others. The cartouche has become a symbol representing good luck and protection from evil.

"Gold-Filled” is a USA industry standard that legally requires 1/20th, or 5% pure gold by weight. It is a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14k gold with extreme heat over a core of high quality jeweler’s brass. Gold-Filled can sometimes be 500x thicker than Gold Plated jewelry. It will not chip off or turn your skin green. We recommend this people with sensitive skin. Suggested Wear: to prolong the luster of your Gold-filled jewelry be careful of hard water exposure, chemicals in shampoos, ocean salt water, chlorine in pools, heavy metals from sweat.
